Wilbraham Republican Town Committee (WRTC) Core Values

1).        LIMITED GOVERNMENT

Wilbraham Republicans generally advocate for smaller, more limited government and a reduction in bureaucracy.  We strive to make Wilbraham a better place to live, work, start a business, and raise a family.

2).        FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

Wilbraham Republicans emphasize fiscal conservatism, advocating for responsible budgeting and spending. We support all local town committees working towards maintaining balanced budgets, reducing wasteful spending, and finding cost-effective solutions to local issues.

3).        LOWER TAXES                                 

Wilbraham Republicans generally support lower taxes as a means to stimulate economic growth and individual prosperity. We support all local town committees advocating for reducing property taxes, business taxes, and other local taxes to attract businesses, encourage investment, and provide relief to taxpayers.

4).        ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT                       

Wilbraham Republicans often prioritize economic growth and job creation. The town committee may work on policies and initiatives that attract businesses, encourage entrepreneurship, and foster economic development in the community.  By attracting local business, we believe that will increase tax revenue to the community thus having a positive effect on individual taxes.

5).        INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES                   

Wilbraham Republicans believe that freedom is God given, affirmed by our Founding Fathers, articulated in the Declaration of Independence, and protected by the Constitution.

6).        PUBLIC SAFETY                               

Wilbraham Republicans strongly support and embrace well-funded, staffed Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services.  We further recognize that these agencies require that ethics and integrity be the foundations of public safety, thus ensuring a safe community where all are valued and treated equally.

7).        EDUCATION                                      

Wilbraham Republicans value and promote a strong educational system that focuses on excellence in academics and vocational education that does not include political ideologies.  The WRTC values schools that acknowledge and support parental rights.  We believe that a strong, well-performing school system is fundamental to our community's stability.
